charmed by the grounds

i found the Alice in Wonderland theme amazing. the attention to detail, especially in the rooms and around the hotel, REALLY brought the story to life. the gardens with terraces and lakes were beautiful and i could walk around for hours.
the room was a bit Dusty upon arrival.

The staff were helpful when i asked for an additional towel. They quickly brought it to my room. breakfast service included a wide selection of options like pastries, fruits and hot dishes. the staff was friendly.

The staff was consistently friendly and professional. I found them to be very accommodating. The hotel boasts beautiful grounds that were well-kept. Breakfast offered a nice range of choices. I found the selection plentiful. The spa was amazing. I really enjoyed a relaxing swim.
I would have liked to have booked a treatment, though I was only there for one night.

Wonderland Revisited!

The interior design paid homage to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. It included fun, whimsical features. George at the front desk was friendly! He really went out of his way to. I found the setting and grounds to be BEAUTIFUL!!! The raw beef at dinner was delicious, and I savored the lamb as my main course.
The room lacked air conditioning, so it was a bit too warm to sleep comfortably.

the hotel has a lovely spa area. The staff were friendly. My room was clean. Cocktails and bar snacks tasted especially good. The continental breakfast offered a good selection.
the room lighting needs some improvement. The rooms are a bit dark.

i observed that the gym contains several pieces of equipment including three treadmills. Two stationary bikes are also available for guest use. The pool area features approximately twenty loungers and a shaded section.

I must say I was a little underwhelmed by my stay. The advertised spa experience was severely lacking. The steam room was out of service, quite annoying. The pool felt more like a public bath, given the noise level and lack of adult-only hours. It was hardly the relaxing retreat I anticipated. it felt as though style was favored OVER substance.
